The pizza aftermath continues. I am having a hard time getting back on track. This is exactly why I need to be more strict with myself. I can’t have meals like that if I want to reach my goals. At least not yet. Plus I am a bigtime emotional eater, so last night was anything but healthy.
This morning I woke up and wanted something sweet. But it needs to be healthy, so I threw together a chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It turns out a bit different every time because I don’t measure, but here is my basic recipe.
I also want to try this with a bit of spinach added, but haven’t yet. This is also my smoothie of choice when I want ice cream. It’s chocolately and yummy and the same consistency, so it really helps with the craving.
1 frozen banana
1 Tbsp PB2
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 cup almond milk
Blend, and enjoy!
